Parent and Carer Support Groups

If you or someone you care about has anorexia, bulimia, compulsive eating disorder or any other weight difficulty, you are likely to experience various sorts of stress. You may feel unsure of how to help your loved one. The Bridge Service will now be holding two support groups specifically for parents, families, and carers. Please join us to discuss any questions or problems you have with our team of specialists and others who are going through similar experiences.

Who is the event suited for?
This support group is specifically for parents, family members, friends and carers of those with eating disorders. The person you are concerned about doesn’t need to be a current patient of the Bridge Service–the event is open to anyone that would like our help.



Who will be leading the group?
The group will be facilitated by two of our multidisciplinary specialists, Kerri Fleming and Dr. Lauren McCoy.
